WE LOVE OUR VOLUNTEERS
MAKE A DIFFERENCE! GET ENGAGED!
Front of House Volunteers
Every production needs a great front of house team, and the commitment is minimal — sometimes just 30 minutes of your time! If you’ll already be at the theater waiting for your performer, consider coming in an hour early and staying an hour after the show to help out. It makes a real difference.
Available positions include:
Concessions — Serve snacks and beverages during intermissions.
RAMP Server — Assist in serving beverages to adult patrons through our Responsible Alcohol Management Program.
Door List Attendant — Welcome guests and manage entry for a smooth arrival experience.
Ushering — Guide patrons to their seats and provide friendly assistance throughout the performance.
Visit the link below to view available shifts and sign up for your preferred position and time.
Costuming Volunteers Wanted
No sewing skills needed! We welcome volunteers of all experience levels to help with costuming in whatever way suits you — sewing, crafting, organizing, backstage, or laundry.
Open to ages 8 and up. Children under 12 are welcome with a guardian.

DreamBuilders
DreamBuilders is a free open shop night at DreamWrights, held twice a month for builders and anyone with a project they want to make.
Our scenic shop is open for you to use, with saws and other power tools, sewing machines, a 3D printer, and space for painting and woodworking. Basically anything you’d find in a theater shop. Bring a project of your own, or pick up one of the props or set pieces we have waiting for some attention. Everyone works at their own pace, and people are happy to share what they know along the way.

Volunteer with DreamWrights
At DreamWrights, volunteers are the backbone of everything we do. Whether you’re interested in helping backstage, at events, or somewhere in between, there’s a place for you here.
If you’d like to learn more about volunteering or get involved with DreamWrights, reach out to Rodd Robertson, our Volunteer & Events Coordinator. Rodd’s been part of the DreamWrights community for years, most recently teaching our summer camps, and he’d love to hear your ideas and talk through where you might want to pitch in.
Rodd is generally on-site Mondays and Tuesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If none of those times work, reach him directly at rodd@dreamwrights.org or 717-478-1373.
