DreamWrights Center for Community Arts is thrilled to announce our 2027 Pearl Anniversary Season, celebrating thirty years of stories shared, imaginations sparked, relationships formed, and communities gathered together.
Traditionally, the 30th anniversary is known as the Pearl Anniversary. A pearl is not created in an instant. It develops gradually, layer by layer, through years of growth and transformation. In many ways, it is a fitting metaphor for DreamWrights.
DreamWrights’ 2027 season explores the many ways people navigate change, challenge, identity, family, relationships, imagination, and the unexpected. Some stories offer redemption. Others leave questions unresolved. Some make us laugh at the absurdity of being human, while others ask us to sit with difficult truths. Together, they invite audiences to reflect on the world around us while celebrating the connections that make a community strong.
A pearl is formed through layers. So is a community.
