What do A Christmas Carol, The Wizard of Oz and Dracula have in common? Jennifer Bender is about to find out. To keep the financially strapped Bleeding Heart Academy from bleeding out, the school hires Jennifer, a one-time novelist and D-list alum, to write a Christmas fundraiser that mashes up the three most popular high school plays. She is saddled with a drama club that has never performed in public, high school ghosts, donor decrees, and an abundance of Madisons. This all-female farce reminds us that it’s never too late to change, and that who you were meant to be may have been there all along.
