Join us in the art of designing and crafting puppets with masters in the field! All puppets will be featured either in a production (Avenue Q or Avenue Carlisle) or on display in our Rutter’s Concession Gallery Exhibit.

The wonderful thing about puppets is they don’t have to be expensive store bought models. The humble sock, the odd one that always hangs around, can be made into a very engaging puppet. Children learn a great deal from playing with puppets as they have the potential to improve creativity, language skills, social awareness and more. Students in this workshop will create characters that will be the foundation of a devised puppet show created with the teen conservatory called Avenue Carlisle. Students will also have a lot of fun!
