This summer, enjoy the twists and turns of Agatha Christie’s classic whodunit, The Mousetrap. When a small group of strangers is trapped together in a country house – everyone is a suspect. DreamWrights Guest Director, Timothy Storey is working his magic with the small cast who will keep you guessing until the end. Storey says he’s excited to dig into the characters and this story, “I have never directed a mystery before, and I thought it would be a fun challenge to take on.”

Although this classic murder mystery is well known, Storey is hoping to bring an element of surprise to the show. “Even those who know the ending will be somewhat surprised because of how we are bringing these characters to life on the stage.” Storey speculates that much of the fun, and the challenge, will be trying to keep up with the lies, truths, and identities of the characters. “The most challenging part is tracking who knows what and when, who is telling the truth and when, and who each person actually is. There are characters in this play who are not really who they say they are, and trying to keep track of what is true and what is not has been a real challenge for me as a director and will be for the audience as well,” Storey chuckles.
