Avenue Carlisle is an original sock puppet play about community devised by the Summer Camp participants over the course of two weeks. They built the sock puppets, crafted the script, and designed the show! This creative ensemble is excited to perform this world premiere play under the direction DreamWrights Artistic Director Gregory DeCandia and Puppetmaster Joanna Underhill.

What’s it about?
Leah, Reagan, and Bella are three friends whose friendship gets ruined after a big fight the night of the school carnival.  Some weird things happen, the story twists, the group enters Sock World – a magical land of colorful friends and mysteries – where they must learn how to sew back together their unraveling friendship.  Grammy, Oreo, Principal Goodwin, Ms Ireland, Cookie the cat, a herd of wild giraffes, and a mysterious carnival clown all make appearances in this wild children’s tale!
