Ocean of Emotion: Art, Myth, and Memory

A visual art exhibition inspired by Once on This Island
On view: June 6–20, 2025
Gallery Hours: One hour before each performance of Once on This Island

DreamWrights and Weary Arts Group proudly present Ocean of Emotion: Art, Myth, and Memory, a bold visual exhibition that explores themes of love, loss, resilience, and healing through color, texture, and story.

Curated by DreamWrights Artistic Director Gregory DeCandia, the exhibit features powerful, emotionally resonant works from a collective of contemporary artists—some affiliated with Ophelia’s Making Agency, a creative initiative supporting underrepresented voices in the arts.

Featured Artists:
Kayode Malomo – Multimedia expressions of joy, education, and cultural pride

Lauren Stine – Meditative, cosmic works inspired by nature and the unknown

Adam Torres – Realist compositions capturing luminous stillness and inner life

Kate Brennan – Theatrical, layered collage and bold acrylics expressing raw emotion

DeMond B. Nason – NYC-based artist premiering his Art Therapy Series, a powerful exploration of trauma, identity, and healing

Whether you’re attending Once on This Island or just stopping by, this free gallery invites you to arrive early and immerse yourself in the visual storytelling that echoes the spirit of the stage.
