Drop in and help out or join one of our active teams:
Special Events Task Force
⦁ Assist with coordinating volunteers to set up, run and clean up events
⦁ Encourage active membership
⦁ Help plan and make delicious food to sell at events
⦁ Simply help out on an ad hoc basis

Construction Prep!! (Tear It Tuesdays in Feb. & Mar. 4:00-7:00, or other evenings if Bob is in)
⦁ Help us clear areas in preparation for April ground breaking
⦁ Organize areas so we can find things during construction
⦁ Prep and “stage” items for shows running during construction

Communications Task Force
⦁ Ensure positive communications with internal and external stakeholders
⦁ Brainstorm and develop creative and effective ideas to promote DreamWrights
⦁ Conduct program and audience research to develop and implement methods of improvement for continued growth
⦁ Brainstorm incentive programs to bring in more people and new ways to sell our programs
Production
⦁ Volunteer during shows to help take tickets, hand out programs, serve concessions, sell lobby sales.
⦁ Help with auditions – greeting, signing in, measuring, “calling”
⦁ Help backstage: props, set, costumes – from “designing” to running with the team
⦁ Learn cool painting techniques and help paint our sets
⦁ Coordinate, serve and enjoy our cast meals
⦁ Create cool photo boards
⦁ Join our production coordinator team and help cover box office hours during shows
Programming Task Force
⦁ Ensure that our educational programming is vibrant, meaningful and relevant.
⦁ Review current programming, brainstorm new ideas and make recommendations.
⦁ Provide insight for future resource needs (staffing, building usage, income streams)
⦁ Assist in developing and implementing new educational programming ideas (in house sessions and outreach).
Play Reading Committee (PRC)
⦁ Assist in selection of shows for each season to be approved by the board
Innovative Programming Committee (IPC)
⦁ Brainstorm, review and recommend potential events and activities
⦁ Review each event regarding impact/effectiveness/time/cohesion with mission statement
Design, Create or Build Something
