Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl

AUDITIONS: March 17 or 18

AUDITIONS:
March 17 or 18 from 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Ages 14–Adult

STEPS TO AUDITION

1. Fill out the Audition Form.  Actors must clearly note all conflicts on the tentative rehearsal calendar provided.

2. Callbacks will only be utilized if needed. If you are selected to attend callbacks, you are required to attend the whole rehearsal as scheduled, until released by the Production team. Tentatively 1-2hrs maximum.

3. Sign Up for your Audition Slot.  This link will open to the General Public two weeks prior to auditions. Become a member today and get the link early!

To Audition: Please prepare both selections of the reading excerpts provided for your audition group. Memorized is not required. Don’t read the audition sides to what you think the character should sound like; the director wants to see your own interpretation of each role. Actors should be expressive in how they approach these roles.

Things to consider before your audition:
Are we our memories, or something else?
What is your own perception of the afterlife?

If any actor wishes to audition for more than one role, he/she should annotate that on signup genius and will be asked to read for other roles during the group audition.

If there are roles you wish to audition for but cannot make the timeslot listed for that character, choose the audition time that works best for you and annotate who you wish to audition for in signup genius and when you arrive at auditions.

Instead, we encourage those who are able to support DreamWrights through membership or a donation. As a nonprofit, we rely on community generosity to make productions like this possible, since ticket sales cover only a portion of our costs.
