Front of House Volunteers
Every production needs a great front of house team, and the commitment is minimal — sometimes just 30 minutes of your time! If you’ll already be at the theater waiting for your performer, consider coming in an hour early and staying an hour after the show to help out. It makes a real difference.
Available positions include:
Concessions — Serve snacks and beverages during intermissions.
RAMP Server — Assist in serving beverages to adult patrons through our Responsible Alcohol Management Program.
Door List Attendant — Welcome guests and manage entry for a smooth arrival experience.
Ushering — Guide patrons to their seats and provide friendly assistance throughout the performance.

Costuming Volunteers Wanted
No sewing skills needed! We welcome volunteers of all experience levels to help with costuming in whatever way suits you — sewing, crafting, organizing, backstage, or laundry.
Open to ages 8 and up. Children under 12 are welcome with a guardian.

DreamBuilders
At DreamWrights, we believe there’s a place for everyone in the creative process — including the people who love to build the world behind the curtain.
DreamBuilders is a new bi-monthly gathering for anyone in the York community who loves building, crafting, and creating. Whether you’re a seasoned prop builder or just someone who’s always wanted to try, come join us to work on projects alongside people who get it. We’ll be reworking old props and set pieces and building new pieces based on what participants want to create. Projects won’t always be tied to a current production, but sometimes they will be.
Fair warning: we’ll mostly be working out of the basement. It’s a real basement. Dress for it and come ready to work.
DreamBuilders is free. If you want to take something home that you built, bring your own supplies. Builders under 10 are welcome with an adult.
