In 2026, DreamWrights Center for Community Arts proudly launches the Studio Series—a bold new theatrical initiative that expands beyond our Reflection Season with six additional evenings of live performance.
The Studio Series celebrates storytelling in its purest form. Featuring readings by celebrated and emerging local playwrights, imaginative conceptual cabarets, dynamic collaborations with regional arts organizations, and the world premiere of Falling—a new musical by Soji Otuyelu—each event offers a singular, intimate theatrical experience.
Performed by some of Central Pennsylvania’s finest artists, these evenings strip theatre down to its essentials: words, music, and human connection. Scripts and scores come alive on music stands, shared in close proximity, where the electric exchange between performers and audience takes center stage.
All Studio Series events are offered by suggested donation, reinforcing our commitment to accessibility and community.

All Together Now: A Cabaret

Join us for a night of music that moves from Broadway to pop and everywhere in between. You’ll hear songs by Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Stephen Schwartz, Alan Menken, Phoebe Bridgers, Billie Eilish, Coldplay, and more. From favorites like Agony, Getting Married Today, and Dear Theodosia to For Good, Viva la Vida, and I See the Light, the program blends classic musical theatre with contemporary hits. It’s a celebration of the range and talent of these performers — all together in one evening.
