Join us for our New Actor Training Series!

Join DreamWrights as we team up with professionals from the region to present the first DreamWrights Professional Actor Training Series. This full-day training will send participants through five sessions covering monologue work, acting sessions, movement, audition techniques, and vocal work. Each group will be broken into groups of up to 10 participants giving you a more intimate experience with professionals. 

Saturday, Jan. 11 from 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

$65 for DreamWrights members, $75 for non-members. 

For ages 16 and up. Bring your own lunch.

Ernesto Rosas

Ernesto is an American TV and Film Actor, Writer, Voice-Over Artist and Songwriter.

Born and raised in South Texas, Ernesto began his journey in the entertainment industry as a drummer/ vocalist in local rock bands, playing small parts in school and church plays and basically being a class clown. His first major acting accomplishment was being directed by Peter Berg on the hit series Friday Night Lights. Life and new responsibilities brought him to New York City where he landed roles on Blue Bloods, Unforgettable, Body of Proof (opposite Dana Delany), X-Men: First Class (opposite Kevin Bacon) and Brawl in Cell Block 99 (opposite Vince Vaughn) among many others. In his spare time, Ernesto goes back to his first love, music, as he is an accomplished songwriter writing for major Country Music Artists.

Hardy Koenig

Hardy Koenig recently retired from the Theatre Department at North Dakota State University after over 25 years of college teaching. Hardy taught Acting, Directing, Voice and Movement and other theatre courses. In his time at NDSU he served as Artistic Director for Theatre NDSU and served as Head of the Department. While living in the Fargo Moorhead area he also acted and directed with the Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre, Theatre B and for Music Theatre Fargo Moorhead. He worked professionally as an actor in short films and commercials.  He is AEA eligible. Hardy has recently moved to York with his wife Lori, the new Artistic Director at DreamWrights, and is looking forward to becoming a part of the community.

Lisa Pantano

Lisa attended Carnegie Mellon University for classical voice, piano, and acting and graduated Class Salutatorian from the Eastman School of Music with a Bachelor’s in Applied Voice.  She has performed in opera, theatre and musical theatre productions and concerts in the US, Italy, and Canada and has sung at the Vatican, Carnegie Hall, and the Kennedy Center.  Favorite roles: West Side Story (Maria) Le Nozze di Figaro (Cherubino) Iolanthe (Phyllis) Trial by Jury (Angelina)  Midsummer (Titania)  All’s Well (Countess) Measure for Measure (Mariana) Esperanza Rising (Ramona) Diary of Anne Frank (Mrs. Frank) Hello, Dolly (Irene Molloy) and Anne of Green Gables (Miss Stacey). Lisa has her MFA in acting from The Shakespeare Theatre Company and GWU and has vocal directed for the Eichelberger and the Belmont: Newsies, The Addams Family, Les Miserables, West Side Story, Annie, and Frozen, Jr.  Lisa also teaches private voice, piano, and drama.

Tice Allison

A native of California and recent transplant to the East Coast, Tice Allison is an American character actor with decades of stage experience and years of professional-level actor’s training. Mr. Allison’s penchant for playing disenfranchised characters and villains has afforded him a worthy list of stage credits. He was most recently seen on stage in the Lebanon Community Theater production of “And Then There Were None,” playing the role of Judge Wargrave. Tice Allison is the author of Badass Acting ~ Best Acting Practices for Fun or Fame. He lives in Lancaster, PA.
