A Charlie Brown Christmas

AUDITIONS: Sept  25 & 26

On the Main Stage

AUDITIONS:
6:30-9:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 25 & 26
CALLBACKS: September 27
Ages 7-adult

To Audition, please prepare one of the following monologues of your choice. Memorized is preferred but not required, we’re more interested in seeing what you do with the character—think about how the character speaks, walks, gestures, etc. (Note, gender does not matter—choose whichever monologue you think shows off your talent the best).

1. Monologues:
Side 1 – Charlie Brown
Side 2 – Lucy
Side 3 – Linus

2.  All actors are also asked to sing one verse of a Christmas carol of their choice. Choose something that shows your range and then have fun with it.

3.  Actors will also be asked to do a short improv exercise where they will be asked to act without speaking, as Snoopy does.

4.  Click on the Audition Form button and fill it out, listing all conflicts. Conflicts will not prohibit you from being cast, but will assist us in creating a schedule that works for everyone.

5. Check out the link with our Tentative Rehearsal Schedule. This will be adjusted after the show is cast.

6. Sign Up for your Audition Slot

If you are offered a role in the production, the production support fee of $20 (members) or $30 (non-members) is due on or before the Information Night. The fee may be paid by cash, credit card, or check payable to DreamWrights. Scholarship funds are available to cover all those in need. For scholarship assistance, please contact Ann Davis at annd@dreamwrights.org.
These fees directly support the costs of mounting the production.
