1. Fill out the Audition Form located through the button below.
2. Please prepare two (2) contrasting monologues, no longer than 60 seconds each.
These selections DO NOT need to correspond with your casting “type”, as we would like to be able to see each actor’s ability and range. The more wildly different in characters, the better. Selections can be from contemporary works or classical.
3. In addition, please prepare to sing a minute long verse (acapella) from your favorite Holiday song – accompaniment will not be permitted.
4. Choose your Audition Slot from the Sign Up Link. DW Members received this link directly via email. The link will be posted and live to the general public on September 25th. Want to become a member? Visit Membership right now!

A Christmas Carol is the tale of our favorite holiday miser, Scrooge, who is visited by four spirits, including his old business partner Jacob Marley and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. Through a series of visits to Scrooge’s youth, to the Fezziwig’s office party, and finally to a future vision of his lonesome dark grave if Scrooge continues his ways, the ghosts show Scrooge the way to embrace the holidays and generosity.
This version of the classic tale mirrors Charles Dickens’ original text much more than other adaptions, with one twist – every cast member will alternate “portraying” Scrooge, and the entire story will be presented as if by a group of houseless “Urban campers”. This will be a pure delight for the viewer and bring a whole new meaning to “getting together for the holidays”.
