If you are offered an acting role in the production, the production support fee of $20 (members) or $30 (non-members) must be paid on the Information Night. The fee may be paid by cash, credit card, or check payable to DreamWrights. Scholarship funds are available to cover all those in need. For scholarship assistance, please contact Ann Davis at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Due to recommendations regarding live vocal performing as well as gathering size constraints, we are saving this production for our 2021 season so that we can hopefully invite as many people as possible to be a part of this great show. We are disappointed not to be able to offer it this fall and are moving forward cautiously. Thanks for your understanding. Together we’ll get through this!
From the first notes to the final breath, West Side Story is one of the most memorable musicals and powerful, poignant, and timely love stories in American musical theatre. Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is transported to 1950s New York City as two young, idealistic lovers, Tony and Maria, find themselves caught between warring street gangs. Their struggle to survive in a world of hate, violence and prejudice is one of the most heart-wrenching and relevant musical dramas of our time.
