Director of Artistic Programming
DreamWrights Center for Community Arts is seeking a Director of Artistic Programming. Under the direction of the Executive Director, this role will be responsible for conceiving, developing, and implementing the artistic vision and focus of the organization, and translate it into creative programming utilizing the performing arts as the platform. This individual will have oversight of the yearly productions, camps and classes, and community collaborations including the opportunity to teach classes and direct productions onsite and out in the community. Evening and weekend work required.
Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre or equivalent as well as demonstrated creativity in developing educational programming in the performing arts. Applicants must have the ability to work with, mentor and engage volunteers of all ages; simultaneously manage multiple projects and work in a collaborative learning environment that emphasizes the creative process as well as the final product.
