DreamWrights Center for Community Arts is seeking a to fill a position with one full time person, or alternatively, two part-time people.

Theatre Office Administrator – Full-time
This position is unique to our organization and encompasses a wide range of duties.
The Theatre Office Administrator will work under the direction of the Executive Director to manage and ensure organized and efficient theatre office operation, provide positive communication with patrons and volunteers, offer administrative support to staff, and maintain clear records of finances. The ability to multi-task, while handling various schedules, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is positive, resourceful, a good problem solver and organized.

Office Manager – Part-time
The part-time Office Manager will work under the direction of the Executive Director to manage and ensure efficient operation of theatre office, provide administrative support to staff, and maintain clear records of finances. Theatre Coordinator – Part-time
The part-time Theatre Coordinator (in collaboration with the Office Manager) will work under the direction of the Director of Artistic Programming to manage and ensure efficient operation of Box Office, provide positive guidance and support to Production volunteers and administrative support around Productions. The ability to multi-task, while handling various schedules, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is positive, resourceful, a good problem solver and organized.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; minimum of two years of relevant work experience
Key Competencies:

  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office products and QuickBooks
  • Familiarity or ability to learn Arts People ticketing, registration and database system
  • Familiarity with online tools for bulk emailing and volunteer sign up
  • Working knowledge of office equipment (printers, computers, credit card machines)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with volunteers and a wide variety of personalities
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative learning environment that emphasizes the creative process as well as the final product
  • Familiarity with theatre a plus

Applicants must have the ability to work with, mentor and engage volunteers of all ages; simultaneously manage multiple projects and work in a collaborative learning environment that emphasizes the creative process as well as the final product.
